Rob’s amp crackled, feedback clanging like a far-off train. I rosined my bow. As we shook off the crumbs of mundane gossip, the rain stopped. Outside the window, seagulls circled and screamed. We decided to play nonsense and edit it later. Soon,  new textures filled the room.
